Who Are We?
Oliver 'Ollie' Cassells
Ollie is a global nomad currently residing in Australia, driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand the intricacies of the world around him. An empathetic thinker whose intellect arguably rivals the great minds of our times, Ollie approaches every inquiry with precision and an appreciation for the limits of human cognition.
With a rich background in research and academia spanning tertiary institutions, Ollie has honed his scientific acumen. He navigates the process of inquiry with keen insight while acknowledging and challenging his own cultural and subconscious biases.
Excelling in diverse fields such as Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) in Nuclear Fusion Reactors, Aerospace Engineering, IT, Data Science, and Neural AI Networks, Ollie also finds time for creative pursuits. He immerses himself in Creative Writing, Audio and Visual Production, and tinkering with electrical gadgets. A devout technology nerd and audiophile, he crafts innovative content across technical, instructional, and artistic domains.
Ollie is a Software Developer, Content Designer, Researcher, and Educator. His thirst for knowledge defies easy labelling, making him a true polymath and lifelong learner, continually expanding his understanding through the process of inquiry. In Filter Feeders, Ollie thrives on having his views challenged and changed, always eager to learn more. What more could he want?
Ollie is the left-brain of Filter Feeders. He is the voice of reason and side-tracked rambles.

Vinod 'Vinny' Rohira
Vinny is an Indian-born third culture kid, having lived and worked on multiple continents. He was fortunate enough to interact with people from all walks of life, which led him to develop a keen sense of observation. Where others see differences, he looks for the similarities in the human experience. Always questioning, what is that invisible thread that connects us all?
Having been introduced to concepts from Indian philosophical texts at a young age, the process of study and inquiry taught Vinny how to think, and not what to think. With a background in hospitality, connecting with people went from being a vocation and profession to becoming Vinny’s lifelong passion and mission. Now he is looking to connect with you.
A mystic by nature, a Jungian by mind, and a lifelong student of the universe in motion. Vinny is starved for answers conventional science and society are unable to give him. Filter feeders enables him to explore the inner movements of the mind, outer workings of the material world and the mysteries & limits of the human capacity for understanding and personal growth.
Vinny is a Poet, Writer of Short-Form Fiction and an Aspiring Author, currently working on a sci-fi manuscript. He is also a Certified Sommelier.
He is the right-brain of Filter Feeders. The voice of intuition and insight.
